Staff that deal with booking in etc were really friendly and pleasant to speak with. Plus, my initial appointment with Sophie was great. She was a great listener while I waffled on and she made me feel really at ease and understood. She was also really knowledgable and gave me lots of advice for when I got back home.

The whole process from doctor’s referral to completing the appointment was prompt, simple, straight forward and relatively easy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was as near a pleasure as anything like that can be. The most irritating bit was continuously being asked for my name and date of birth. I realise that is to ensure I am still 'Compost Memphis'. Sorry, I was just channelling my inner Victoria Wood (no relation) linguistic skills. My thanks and best wishes to the whole team.

The signage could be improved, I had to ask for directions part way through both getting in and out. I realise you can’t put every department on every sign but if a page of joining instructions were sent out giving progressive pointers from, and back to, both the main entrance and the South Block entrance, and any others, that would be great and help alleviate the stress of ‘going to the hospital’. The Asian lady who did my booking in had quite a strong accent, and my hearing isn’t 100% any longer. I had to ask her several times to repeat what she had said or asked. I think it is because people doing the same thing frequently tend to speak the well-known script quickly. Just ask them to slow down a little please.

Very quick to be seen and receive advice

I was referred to A and E by NHS 111 online. I had painful ankle pain. As it wasn't caused by an injury, I couldn't be treated and had to see my GP. I know this isn't Doncaster's issue but I am sure I'm not the only one being referred to the hospital by 111 service when I should have been referred to my own GP. I don't want to bother accident and emergency when zi don't need to. Also could have saved myself a trip

All the staff were extremely helpful, kind and very professional. I was given good information and guidance about the procedure. Information was also given and explained if I needed to contact someone after my treatment. I am a carer and did not have sedation, the staff were very supportive with me which enabled me to go home and continue to support my loved one. I would like to thank everyone involved.
